Bunnings garden supplies, power washers and even a lawnmower soon to be sold to West Aussies via Uber Eats

West Australians will soon be able to experience their mid-renovation crisis in the privacy of their own homes as Bunnings is about to start door-to-door deliveries via Uber Eats.
The hardware store’s 30,000 products will be available at the touch of a button when it launches in WA, expected in mid-2026.
Bunnings and Uber Eats announced on Monday that the chain’s range of products – the widest retail range on the app – will be available at in-store prices and delivered in under 60 minutes.
The offer unfortunately excludes the famous Bunnings sausage sizzle.
As long as Uber Eats is active in the region, customers will be able to order from stores in Mindarie in the north and Mandurah in the south.
Customers can check if they can order online via the Bunnings app.
The launch follows a successful pilot in five Melbourne stores in January, with plans to roll out in Australia and New Zealand in the coming months.
Uber Eats promises everything from everyday DIY items to gardening supplies, power washers, chairs, doormats, pet food and even a lawn mower.
Bunnings chief operating officer Ryan Baker said many Australians preferred to browse its warehouse-sized stores: “We know there are times when ease of use and speed are a priority.”
Uber Eats APAC regional general manager Lucas Groeneveld said the initiative will bring “a wide range of daily needs” to the app.
“From last-minute DIY fixes and garden projects to barbecue prep or keeping the job site moving, this partnership makes it easier than ever to get customers what they need delivered on demand, no matter the situation,” he said.
While Uber Eats primarily caters to food delivery, it has steadily expanded its services since its launch.
Australian shoppers can get their groceries and items delivered to their door from retailers such as Pet Barn, Officeworks and EB Games.
Bunnings and Uber introduced same-day parcel delivery for eligible orders from selected metropolitan and regional stores in 2024.
Service and delivery fees will apply to Uber Eats Bunnings orders; Uber One membership’s free delivery is valid for carts over a certain value on eligible orders.
Bunnings owner Wesfarmers has signed new deals with Google and Microsoft that will result in the conglomerate becoming more reliant on technology.
Under the Microsoft partnership, Wesfarmers will expand the tech giant’s adoption of AI, data and cloud technologies across Bunnings, Kmart, Target, Priceline and Blackwoods industrial division.
The hardware store made headlines in December when it announced it would sell flat-pack housing for as little as $26,000.
