Greek island becomes most searched overseas destination – thanks to Alan Carr and Amanda Holden

Corfu is Rightmove’s most searched overseas destination thanks to BBC series Amanda and Alan’s Greek Business.
There was a significant increase in interest in searches for the Greek island following the programme, in which close friends Amanda Holden and Alan Carr began property renovations.
Online queries for Corfu rose 173% in January compared to the previous year, surpassing traditional hotspots such as Dubai, Costa Del Sol and the Algarve.
