Police descended on a school in Sheffield after two teachers were “taken to hospital”, according to parents gathered in the area. South Yorkshire Police have been seen at Fir Vale Academy, Owen Lane, since 1.20pm today (Thursday, February 26). Details of the incident are not yet known. Local Facebook page Sheffield Online shared a photo of police outside the school, adding: “Emergency services were seen responding to an incident near Fir Vale School today, police vehicles and response teams were in the area.

“At this stage, there has been no official confirmation of what happened and the situation appears to be under control. Motorists have reported temporary disruptions on nearby roads while emergency crews manage the scene. As always, authorities ask the public to refrain from speculation until confirmed information is released.”
