A stand-up comedian revealed a major development in his life during his performance and was promptly heckled by someone in the audience. Many comics draw on personal experiences and anecdotes as the material for their comedy routines, and Stuart Law is no exception.
During a recent performance, he began discussing his choice to undergo a vasectomy. He has no children and wanted to keep it that way.
More and more people are choosing to remain childfree, but being honest and open about this decision can sometimes lead to criticism from parents.
“I didn’t have any children and I had a vasectomy,” Stuart told a crowd at a demonstration.
A distinct “boo” was heard from the audience, prompting the question: “Did someone boo me?”
He then walked up to the disapproving onlooker and questioned him: “Why so, may I ask?”
She replied: “So, I feel like it’s in our biology to have children, you know?”
The crowd then started booing the woman who was disturbing them. Stuart then quipped: “So when did you give your life to Jesus Christ?”

The woman replied: “How did you know?”
To which Stuart jokingly responded: “Because you said something crazy. It’s incredibly easy to spot. And you said it with great confidence. But it’s your culture, I’m not going to criticize.”
Stuart posted footage of the exchange on Reddit and captioned it: “Booed for not having kids.”
In the comments section, viewers were eager to share their reactions. One person said: “‘Because you said something crazy’ Lol!”
Another said: “I was impressed with how quickly you responded with this comment. I didn’t even give it a second look to think about it.”
A third said: “If you’re childfree and have been around enough people over the years who have criticized you and judged you on your decision, you’re ready to get excited. I guess the same goes for Christians!”
A fourth mused: “I’m so curious what you think of people who are physically (some might even say biologically) unable to have children.”
Another said: “What a profound statement. I think it’s also biology that a sentient being can make its own choices.”
Another was impressed by the comedian’s response to the situation and said: “Well done!”
One Reddit user shared: “My answer to the question ‘It’s in our biology to have children’ would be: ‘That’s why I went to the doctor to fix it.’
“I wonder if the biology lady ever went to the doctor? For example, if her biology was going to kill her, wouldn’t she change it if she could?”
Another commented: “Not having kids is incredibly responsible if you don’t want kids.”
Another added: “It’s crazy to insist that people who don’t want children have children. If there’s one thing society doesn’t need, it’s reluctant parents.”
