Why are more GPs opting to work outside the NHS?

Member of the private practice committee of the British Medical Association (BMA), Dr. Oliver Denton says: “We can’t say for sure why we’re seeing an increase in the number of doctors working privately, but with increasing pressures within the NHS it’s no surprise that more people are considering working outside the health service.”
