Four Guys Walked Into a DC Bar And Bragged About Iran Strikes Hours Before The Military Operation: TMZ
Four men at a bar in Washington DC reportedly boasted about US attacks on Iran hours before military action took place. Mark Geragoslawyer and co-host of the program 2 Angry Men Podcast with TMZs Harvey Levin.
Around 3:45 p.m. Friday afternoon, Geragos said, he sat in the bar area of Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab on 15th Street Northwest to prepare for the podcast when he heard men at a high table talking loudly about Iran.
“You’re in Washington, DC. You could go to a million places to podcast where it’s quiet and you’d choose Joe’s Stone Crab,” Levin said by way of introduction.
“By the way, do you know why?” Geragos asked. “I was actually going to leave, but the conversation I overheard at the next table was so impressive that I couldn’t leave.”
“Oh, spill it!” cried Levin.
Around 4:15 p.m., Geragos told Levin, “I think there’s some stuff going on in Iran leading up to this drop — I’ll leave it at that.”
Levin, in disbelief, said, “Are you kidding! Was there someone from the government with you?”
To Levin’s objections, the timid Geragos replied, “I’ll leave it at that.” Levin “What did they say?” Geragos replied, “Today is the day! As we sit here, it’s Friday.”
TMZ reported He said the men in question were “dressed in business attire…sport jackets and collared shirts” and that Mark “said in a voice loud enough for him to hear clearly…that the United States would bomb Iran ‘today’.”
“Mark isn’t sure who these men are, but Joe’s is 0.2 miles from the White House,” the report said.
And get this… one of the guys at the table was singing it to the tune of The Beach Boys: “Barbara Ann”…
“Bomb Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran.”
It is literally the definition of the phrase “Loose lips sink ships.”
