Qatar’s state-owned energy company halts LNG production after Iran drone attacks

QatarEnergy said on Monday it had halted production of liquefied natural gas due to Iranian attacks on its operating facilities.

According to data from energy consultancy firm Kpler, approximately 20% of the world’s global LNG exports come from the Gulf, especially Qatar, and are transported through the Strait of Hormuz.
