NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte expressed his full support for President Donald Trump’s attacks on Iran, stating that key allies stand “all for one, one for all” in the face of Tehran’s increasing missile retaliation.

“There is not even the slightest light between us,” Rutte told “Fox & Friends” on Monday.

“Europeans, Canada, Mark Carney, the United States, the American president… All for one, one for all, because here in Europe everyone supports: [Ayatollah Ali] Khamenei is gone, nuclear capacity is over, the ballistic missile program is now broken; “This was a great threat to Europe, Israel and the entire region,” he said.

Rutte praised Trump for crippling the Iranian regime’s military capabilities and eliminating Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and expressed broad support from European leaders in talks over the weekend.

“This is very important,” Rutte said.

“And what I’m seeing in Europe — I talked to all the major European leaders over the weekend — is widespread support for what the president is doing, but also making sure that the Europeans are really stepping up when it comes to logistics, when it comes to access, when it comes to defending core U.S. interests in Europe and the region.”

Rutte’s comments come as Iran launches missiles at military and civilian targets in Israel and Gulf countries following US-led attacks.

Rutte said he met personally with many senior European leaders in the immediate aftermath of the attacks and viewed their responses as supportive.

“For example, when you look at German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, he is going to Washington tomorrow to meet with President Trump. He has made the most beautiful comments in the last few days. I really think he fully supports what is going on,” he said.

“You see the same thing in France in terms of the aid they gave, and also in the United Kingdom. The problem with the United Kingdom was that it was legal in terms of defensive operations.” he continued.

Rutte acknowledged that Britain was initially hesitant to give US forces access to its bases, saying the issue centered on legal authorization for defense operations.

french newspaper Le Monde reported Although on Monday, European leaders reacted “extremely cautiously” following attacks that began on Saturday, the next day they “changed their tone in response to Tehran’s regional counter-offensive”, even issuing a joint statement vowing not to remain silent in the event of further “indiscriminate” attacks.
