Green Party leader Zack Polanski has criticized Sir Keir Starmer’s decision to allow US forces to operate from British bases against Iran.

The Prime Minister on Sunday (March 1) allowed the US to use British bases to target Iran’s missile launchers and depots to help protect countries targeted by Tehran.

“Draging the UK into another illegal war does not make us any safer, and polls repeatedly show that the majority of people in this country do not want our bases to be used by the US military,” the Green Party leader said.

Sir Keir reiterated that Britain did not join the US and Israel in their attacks on Iran.
