Drivers urged to avoid area

The Monroe County Sheriff Office responds to an accident in the Route 490 between the Route 31 output and the output of the EastView Mall. As of now, The strips that go to both east and west are closed that stretch.

Only Small injuries reported. When the emergency teams clean the stage, drivers are asked to call alternative routes.

MCSO will provide an update when the road is reopened in both directions.
