Juliette’s explosive fight with Joel, Stephanie embraces feminism, and Gia’s stirring

The most interesting and slightly scary thing about a show We Married at First Sight is that your favorites are rarely safe. One moment, you’re cheering on a couple at their wedding, and the next moment, you’re watching with your mouth open as the bride yells at her husband for having “devil eyes” while also revealing that she’s still sleeping with a teddy bear.
If Juliette Fava’s backflip on uninvited groom Joel Moses left you scratching your head, the two came face to face after the dinner party to explain what happened from hell. MAFS: After the Dinner Party Featuring Laura Byrne, Brittany Hockley and Jules Lund. So are things resolved? Here’s what you’re missing.
A Star Is Born: The SequelFeaturing Juliette and Joel
It all started with drumming with dildos. Yes, you read that right. Juliette got angry after seeing Joel A video of him playing drums with dildosand decided he needed some time away from his alleged performing nature and “evil eyes”.
As they argued before leaving their home, Joel said, “You don’t see the star in me, you don’t see the light.”
Fast forward to the dinner party and Juliette describes this incident to the larger group and says that Joel yelled at her, “I’m the STAR of the show.”
Speaking to Laura, Britt and Jules in the hall, Joel denied performing. “I’m not trying to be anyone else,” he said. “I’m putting myself out there, I’m not going to hide. That doesn’t mean I’m a ball of gas in the sky.”
Enter Juliette, slightly remorseful for accusing her husband of saying something he never actually said, and also labeling her a “c—” at one stage. Britt and Laura take no prisoners in this show; you would know if you watched them roast the “traditional” groom, Tyson, last week.
Labeling Juliette’s behavior as cruel, degrading, and degrading, Britt and Laura have an important question that many fans are pondering: Why?
Juliette explained: “I was suffering inside, day after day, because Joel’s character was so hard to deal with.”
“Every day I felt less like myself, more caged… there’s not one single thing that can definitively determine that.”
“I will turn the whole group against him”
Easily the best part After the Dinner Party It’s unseen footage that adds context to some chaotic moments. This time we see Juliette and Joel arguing, then Juliette asks him to apologize and take some time, and Joel walks away to leave her alone.
When a producer rushes in to see if she’s okay, Juliette spills the beans. “He’s trying to paint me as the bad guy,” he fumed. “I’m done, I’m going to treat him badly. I’m going to turn the whole group against him.”
Watching it again, Juliette said she couldn’t cope with the pressures of the social experiment. “I became explosive and you made it happen,” he told Joel. An interesting apology, of course.
Joel’s teddy bear, a palate cleanser, is thrown away
I don’t think Teddy wants anything to do with any of this.
Stephanie reveals what it’s like to be the surprising face of feminism
Stephanie Marshall also came to chat with Laura and Britt after their exciting interview with her “traditional” husband, Tyson, the week before.
“This won’t come as a surprise to anyone, but it’s pretty clear we all have some issues with Tyson,” Britt said. “I could barely get through our very brief conversation, let alone live with her, marry her, go on our honeymoon. Either Stephanie has the patience of a saint, or they’re connecting on a level we haven’t seen before.”
While Stephanie and Tyson are matched on their similar, conservative views (they both like Trump and disdain “woke” culture), the two have clashed; Tyson described Stephanie’s energy as “too masculine.”
“You may hear it so many times before you start believing it yourself,” Stephanie said.
Since Stephanie had no qualms about calling out Tyson for his conservative views on gender roles and same-sex relationships, the “anti-woke” Brisbane real estate agent has – ironically – emerged with the one label he never wanted: feminist.
“I’m not anti-feminist,” he said. “I’m not interested in the extremes of things.”
Britt and Laura call Gia to get robbed…again
one of those who continue MAFSs This season’s storylines center on the feud between Bec Zacharia and Gia Fleur, with the pair following an “extreme foe to friend-to-foe” arc. Britt and Laura reveal they accepted Gia’s offer to appear on the show After the Dinner Party again before canceling for the third time.
Play unseen footage!
In the new footage, we see an angry Gia call Alissa Fay a “stupid” at her bachelorette party, then label Alissa and Bec “weird bitches.” So what caused this bitter spray? Nobody really knows.
But what Laura points out is that Gia is “ground zero” when it comes to causing trouble. “Gia’s biggest characteristic is repetitive behavior,” he said. “Every week and [there are] “There are so many moments that can be missed.”
As Laura rightly points out, Gia has had her perfectly manicured fingers in every piece of cake, from Bec and Danny Hewitt’s relationship drama to Brook Crompton’s tirade against Alissa and Stella Mickunaite and even Juliette’s attack on Joel. Who is constantly instigating this in the background? Miss Gia of course.
It might be time to take a step After the Dinner Party sofa, Gia. Fourth time lucky next week?
After the Dinner Party It airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Stan, which is owned by Nine, the broadcaster of this masthead.
