Ryan Gosling made a rare public appearance with the special couple celebrating Eva Mendes’ 52nd birthday.

The 45-year-old actor, who is preparing for the release of his upcoming movie Project Hail Mary, was accompanied on Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The lovebirds first crossed paths in 2011 on the set of the movie The Place Beyond The Pines, and their love has often been under the spotlight.

Both Gosling and Mendes had big smiles on their faces as they chatted candidly together, receiving a warm welcome from Fallon and the live audience.

After first striking up a romance on the crime thriller more than a decade ago, Mendes and Gosling also have two daughters together: Esmeralda, 11, and Amada, nine.

She recently revealed how her two children are featured in the new sci-fi adventure movie Project Hail Mary, which will be released on March 20.
