Hannah and Kennedy met in the 1980s and dated on and off for more than five years before parting ways in 1994.

The series, created by famous producer and showrunner Ryan Murphy, introduces itself as a “fictional drama” and broken records It has become the most watched miniseries ever on Hulu and Disney+ platforms.
One interview with Hollywood ReporterExecutive producer Brad Simpson said that they did not consult any members of the Kennedy family or the real-life characters they portrayed, but that the show was made with “sincerity” and “love and kindness.”
The actor goes on to highlight his work in environmental activism and documentary filmmaking over the past few decades and how the show damaged his reputation.
“In the weeks since the series aired, I have received numerous hostile and even threatening messages from viewers who believe the portrayal is real. When entertainment takes the name of a real person, it can permanently affect their reputation,” he says.
Shortly after the article was published, Hannah created a TikTok account and shared a clip of herself walking in the snow and a link to the story.
“Hi. I’m Daryl Hannah. I’m a real person. I’m not that eager to be a part of today’s cultural conversation, which we all know is getting more hateful and petty by the day, but I’ve heard it talked about a lot. And I have some thoughts,” he says in the video.
Hannah isn’t the only real-life person in the Kennedy family’s orbit to criticize the show.
JFK Jr.’s nephew, Jack Schlossberg, described the series as “grotesque” and “caps for fiction.” interview last week.
