Man dies, another arrested after domestic dispute
A man has been stabbed to death and another is in police custody following what is believed to be a domestic dispute at a home in Sydney’s inner west.
Police were called to the Concord home around noon on Sunday after concerns were raised for the welfare of a resident.
At the property on Spring Street, officers found a man in his 30s who had been stabbed in the chest, police said. The person, who was intervened by medical teams, died at the scene.
Officers arrested a 41-year-old man believed to be living at the same house and took him to Burwood police station where he was questioned. He has not yet been charged.
Officers took the barefoot man, wearing a T-shirt and shorts, out of the house with evidence bags in his hands.
A crime scene was created at home.
