Seoul (Reuters) -South Korea’s Ministry of Transport is preparing to order all the airlines operating Boeing Jets in accordance with the US Federal Aviation Administration in accordance with 2018 consultancy.
The spokesman did not give a timeline for the checks. Boeing did not respond to the request request immediately.
The fuel key locks talked about Air India’s 2018 advisor after a preliminary report on the collision of Air India’s Boeing 787-8 jet, who killed 260 people last month.
The FAA consultancy suggested that various Boeing models, including 787, to make sure that operators of operators could not accidentally move the locking feature of fuel cutting switches, but it was not compulsory.
Reuters referred to a document and resources on Sunday, and said that Planemer and FAA’s locks to airlines and regulators of Boeing aircraft were secure and that the controls were not necessary.
Air India’s preliminary report said that the Airline did not perform the proposed audits of FAA because FAA is not a 2018 consultancy task. However, he showed that the gas butterfly control module, including fuel switches of the maintenance records, was changed in 2019 and 2023 on the plane in the accident.
