A Menace in Men’s Life

Prostate problems! This term is frequently indicated by men aged 30 to 90 in urology clinics. Although many are aware of problems such as prostate cancer and prostate expansion, a less understood and frequently neglected condition is “prostatitis”. This lack of awareness contributes to the problem.
According to the current literature, prostatitis affects approximately 10-12% of men between the ages of 30 and 50. However, since the current data is not comprehensive or correct, we believe that incidence is much higher among Indian men. Furthermore, prostatitis is diagnosed based on clinical symptoms and symptoms instead of laboratory tests and scans, which makes it a difficulty in diagnosis.
The causes of prostatitis are varied, the most common is an increasing infection from urethra (urine passage). Other reasons include unprotected sexual intercourse, urethral stenosis and prostate expansion that can lead to urine stasis in the bladder. In addition, tuberculosis, which is common in India, is also a known cause of prostatitis.
Men with prostatitis often occur with burning sensation during urine, pain, frequency of urination while passing urine, discomfort in scrotum and perinum, pain after ejaculator, and some degree of semen erectil dysfunction and blood symptoms. These symptoms tend to be uncertain and irritating rather than acute and severe, which usually delay patients looking for help from a urologist. Acute form prostatitis will have intense pain when passing urine and high -grade fever.
Patients with prostatitis are primarily managed with medications. However, adaptation can be difficult, because these drugs are slowly effective and are usually prescribed for long periods of time, usually lasts 4 to 6 weeks. In addition, the recurrence of symptoms is widely observed. Surgical intervention is required in cases of acute prostatitis causing a prostate abscess. On the other hand, chronic prostatitis contains patients with recurrent symptoms that can continue for years and make treatment quite difficult.
Men must be aware of these conditions, so that they can consult a timelyly an experienced urologist and receive appropriate treatment. Delaying treatment can significantly affect the quality of life. With sufficient information about access to disease and quality health services, we are sure that it will successfully want treatment for prostatitis instead of enduring the ongoing difficulties offered by men.
