NFL legend Rob Gronkowski threatens to fight Logan Paul in March event

Could there be another celebrity boxing match on the horizon?

Legendary NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski recently called out WWE superstar and boxer Logan Paul for backing out of a boxing match in which the former NFLer was pitted against Le’Veon Bell.

Paul had challenged any NFL player to box for $1 million; this had been agreed upon before he was called. Paul claimed that WWE did not want him to risk injury outside of the promotion.

But Gronkowski said: “Up and Adams” It would be ugly for the former YouTuber if he and Paul got into the boxing ring.

“If Logan Paul wants a piece of me, we’re both going to play flag football on March 21st,” Gronkowski, 36, said, referring to the Fanatics Flag Football Classic at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. “I’m ready to throw it on the field, even throw my punches, fight with all my might on the flag football field. If he wants to fight me, I’ll fight him on the field.”

Gronkowski added: “I’m going to yell at him…”

Gronkowski’s “influence” with Paul is similar to former New England Patriots teammate Tom Brady, who called Paul’s career in WWE “cute” while promoting a flag football game originally scheduled to be played in Saudi Arabia.

The game has since moved to Los Angeles amid military operations in the Middle East involving the United States, Israel, Iran and others.

“There’s a clip of him there [Tom Brady] In a social media post supporting Gronkowski’s call, Paul said: “We’ll see what happens if any of the players want to fight.” “I’d choke Myles Garrett. Any name. Any football player, Myles Garrett, Puka Nakua, Tom Brady, Rob, Sam Darnold. $1 million, come to the gym, put on the boxing gloves and see how it goes. I’ll take it.”

Bell, who is no stranger to celebrity boxing, reached Paul by knocking out former NFL player Adrian Peterson in 2023. According to Paul, they seemed to have everything set up until WWE stepped in.

Maybe we’ll see some fireworks in Los Angeles next weekend when Gronkowski, Paul, Brady and many other NFL stars and famous athletes gather at BMO Stadium for the inaugural Fanatics’ flag football event. Myles Garrett, Saquon Barkley, Davante Adams, Alvin Kamara and many more will be in attendance.

Since the draft will be held on March 18, there is a possibility that Gronkowski and Paul will be on the same team. However, Brady is captain of one of the teams along with Philadelphia Eagles star Jalen Hurts. Considering what both players, who are FOX Sports’ best friends and current colleagues, have said, Brady may not want Paul on his roster.
