Two lucky ticket holders win £1 million each in Lotto draw on Wednesday 15 July
Two players won £1 million each in Wednesday’s Lotto draw, a month after the game’s new format was introduced.
This brings the total number of millionaires created by the ‘Two Chances to Win’ system to 34.
Two new millionaires, one winning in the first round and the other in the second round, claimed the prize by matching five out of six numbers plus the bonus number.
In both draws, no player captured the grand prize by matching all six main numbers.
Saturday’s Lotto jackpot is estimated at £9.5 million.
Andy Carter, senior winners advisor at National Lottery operator Allwyn, said: “Wow what an incredible evening it was for players of the nation’s millionaire maker Lotto, as two ticket holders in tonight’s draw won a whopping £1 million, including one in Round 2.

The winning numbers in Super Lotto are as follows:
Round 1: – 04, 13, 14, 17, 23, 31 and the bonus number was 56.
Round 2: – 04, 40, 43, 51, 55, 57 and the bonus number became 34.
No player took home £175,000 by matching five out of five numbers in the Lotto HotPicks game, which used the same numbers as the lotto draw.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 08, 14, 17, 18, 34 and the Thunderball number was 03.
No ticket holder matched all five numbers and Thunderball won £500,000.
