Scott, 73, told CNN’s Kate Bolduan on CNN News Center on Wednesday that Americans expect high gas prices to continue in their country “for a while,” thanks to President Donald Trump’s war on Iran. “We want prices to come down. Unfortunately, I think prices will go up for a while until this is over,” said Scott, whose estimated net worth exceeds $500 million. “But prices will fall even further in the hope that Venezuela will arrive, American oil and gas will arrive, and that this conflict will be resolved positively.”
