Silence is not diplomacy, but surrender: Congress’s Parambil on West Asian conflict

Shafil Parambil, INC, Kerala said that the treasury bank had not circulated detailed additional grant requests till this morning, which was against the rules of procedure. “The rules of procedure do not only apply to opposition,” he said. “Our currency is the worst performing currency in Asia,” he said.

He questioned the government’s involvement in helping Indians stranded in West Asia due to conflict. “In this crisis, silence is not diplomacy, it is complete surrender,” he said. “The government needs to take action on these issues, but the Prime Minister is busy with electioneering.”
