Ben Tudhope wins bronze medal behind Italy’s Emanuel Perathoner

Cortina: Australian snowboarder Ben Tudhope won the bronze medal in the men’s banked slalom SB-LL2 at the Winter Paralympics. He became Australia’s only medalist at these Games so far after taking silver in men’s snowboard cross last week.

Tudhope, 26, finished behind snowboard cross gold medalists Emanuel Perathoner of Italy and Fabrice von Gruenigen of Switzerland. This is Tudhope’s first Paralympic medal in the event and the first time he has made two podium finishes at a Winter Paralympics.
