In a statement shared on X, Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf noted: “Trump [Israeli prime minister Benjamin] “Netanyahu started to start the war and is now acting under his control.”
The Speaker further clarified Tehran’s current diplomatic and military stance, stating that “in light of the great crime they have committed, Iran no longer makes ‘any distinction’ between the United States and the Zionist regime.”
Qalibaf’s comments come at a time when regional conflicts are intensifying, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) continuing a series of “successful and determined incessant retaliatory strikes” against what it describes as hostile American and Israeli facilities.
Regarding the future of military engagements, the Speaker of the Parliament took a firm stance, saying “the war will continue until the enemy’s calculations change and the enemies are driven to repent.” Reflecting this defiant political stance, the Revolutionary Guard confirmed the launch of the 48th phase of the retaliatory campaign targeting various Israeli and American facilities, state broadcaster Press TV reports.
In a statement released Saturday, the IRGC announced the “successful execution of the 48th wave of Operation True Promise 4, an ongoing retaliatory operation against Zionist and American targets.” It was reported that this latest attack was carried out in coordination with the Lebanese resistance group. Hezbollah.
Military officials determined that the primary targets in the occupied territories were located in the northern region, focusing specifically on “the Galilee, the Golan, and the occupied city of Haifa.”
Beyond these areas, “various American bases in the region” were also hit during this phase of the conflict.
The 48th wave utilized a complex mix of weapons, including “solid-fuel Kheibar Shekan missiles, liquid-fuel Qadr missiles and attack drones,” according to Press TV.
This follows the earlier completion of the 47th wave on Friday, which targeted strategic locations such as the “Negev Desert, including Nevatim”, home to one of the largest air bases in the region.
Other strikes in this phase were against “Be’er Sheva” and the city of “Lod”, described as a technological hub.
In particular, the IRGC reported that it also hit “al-Udaid”, located in Qatar and defined as “the most important air base of the USA in the West Asian region”.
The operation was extended to “hideouts of the anti-Iran Komala terrorist group” using both “solid-fuel Kheibar Shekan missiles and liquid-fuel Kadr missiles”.
Press TV also reported that the Revolutionary Guard used “Khorramshahr, Kheibar Shekan, Emad and Qadr missiles” during the 46th wave on Friday.
Underlining the impact on the ground, the Corps noted the psychological cost of the attacks, saying, “Sounding sirens and scrambling to get into shelters, this is the current situation of the Zionists right now.”
Since the start of hostilities late last month, the IRGC has reportedly deployed “hundreds of ballistic and hypersonic missiles, as well as attack drones.”
On the defense front, the Corps claimed to have shot down five invasion aircraft on Friday, including “Orbiter 4, Hermes and MQ-9 Reaper drones.”

Military records cited by the state broadcaster show that a total of “114 reconnaissance and combat aircraft” have been neutralized by Iran’s “advanced air defense systems” since the start of the attack.
As the final stage of the psychological campaign, the Revolutionary Guard reportedly began sending Hebrew text messages to residents of the occupied areas.
The warning message said, “With God’s permission, we will bring upon you dark days where you will wish for death but you will not find it.”
