Three teenagers arrested after girl, 15, dies in three-vehicle collision

On Friday night, a 15-year-old girl died and three teenagers were arrested after the motorcycle she was traveling on crashed into two cars.
Thames Valley Police said there was a collision between a white Toyota Yaris, a gray Toyota Hilux and a motorbike on the A355 in Buckinghamshire at around 9.20pm on Friday.
The girl was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by a young boy.
The driver of the motorbike, a 16-year-old from Beaconsfield, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Two teenagers, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, also from High Wycombe, who were also riding a motorbike, were also detained on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The force said a mandatory referral was made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) due to the presence of a police vehicle nearby.
It was stated that the police vehicle was driving in the opposite lane, not on the blue light.
Chief investigating officer Oliver Cahill-Smith said: “Firstly, I would like to share my sincerest condolences to the family of the girl who sadly lost her life as a result of this collision.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.
“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area before the collision to review dashcam footage as it may contain information that could assist our investigation.”
