SEE THE NOMINEES: The Aussies in with a chance for Oscars glory

Rose Byrne and Jacob Elordi are the leading Australians at the Oscars, but Australia’s best chance of snagging a gold statue may be in the behind-the-scenes category.

Horror-musical Sinners has a record 16 nominations, including Guido Wolter for best visual effects.
