Tori Spelling says people make constant false claims about her having work done

Tori Spelling said this week that throughout her career, tabloids and fans have made “horrible” claims about plastic surgery she didn’t have.
52-year-old woman, Dr. “Ever since I was 17, before the internet, there was the Enquirer, The Globe, it was like tabloid magazines,” she told Terry Dubrow while discussing her plastic surgery. “Mispelling” podcast On Monday.
“And the Globe came up with something when I was 17,” he said. “I started on ‘90210’ and became famous. And they said, ‘She had all this plastic surgery.’ I mean, they did something like that to a 17-year-old kid.”
Spelling said Globe claimed she had a new chin and cheek implant, but all she actually had was a nose job.

She recalled her father, producer Aaron Spelling, telling her not to worry about the story, saying the tabloids would move on to another celebrity next week, but she said it had been something she had been suffering from all her life.
“When I was 17, it crushed my entire soul,” he said. “I had never seen it. I had never heard of it. I was like a 17-year-old girl going, ‘Okay, am I pretty? I’m trying to find myself in this world, but I’m on TV.’ I was really in high school.”
In the age of social media, Spelling admitted that it still hurts her feelings when people speculate about her.

“It’s scary. I’m 52, I’ll be 53 in May, and I’m consciously going the other way because everyone is like, ‘Stop padding!’ with every photo I put up.” he says. ‘It’s not me!’ “I said,” he said. “I don’t know – I think I should be f— at this point and get my whole face done because they say I already have it done. So it’s like I can’t win but I don’t know why that’s stopping me from doing things.”
Spelling said he usually doesn’t respond when people make unfounded comments, but he can’t always control himself.

“But sometimes I catch myself thinking: ‘No! That’s not true! Have I had fillers in the past? Yes – I don’t have fillers right now. I have Botox’ and I like to say I have them. Like, why do I – like I’m afraid to like – it’s like, ‘No, I haven’t had all of these.'”

Spelling had previously detailed her experience getting breast implants at a mall on the recommendation of a friend who was a stripper.
“When I was 17, it tore my entire soul apart. I never saw it. I never heard it. I was like a 17-year-old girl going, ‘Okay, am I pretty? I’m trying to find myself in this world, but I’m on TV.’ I was really in high school.”
“I was 19 and I was like, ‘This isn’t Beverly Hills, what’s going on?’ I thought. I was confused. I was very good friends with Alicia Silverstone and Carmen Electra, and they took care of me. [after the surgery]. I can’t even make this stuff up.”

“He was a good doctor, it was like an outpatient center in a mall.”
She described her natural breasts as A-plus compared to B cups, adding that she “just wanted to make them fuller.”

Spelling said he had them done again, joking, “The third time will be the charm.”
“I guess my body doesn’t like taking in foreign things,” she explained. “I think they’re good now. My goal in having them redone was to make them smaller, because when I look back in the ’90s, I said, ‘I loved my breasts. I wish I hadn’t hid them. They’re really great.'”
