President Donald Trump harshly criticized federal Judge James Boasberg in a Truth Social post Sunday night, accusing him of bias against the GOP and his administration and suggesting he should recuse himself from working on any cases related to them.

In the post, the president described Boasberg as “a Wacky, Disgusting, Crooked, and completely Out of Control Judge who suffers from the highest level of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) and has been ‘after’ my people and me for years.”

“In every instance, Boasberg demonstrated clear, flagrant, and extreme partisan bias and disdain for Republicans and the Trump Administration,” the president said.

“In order to protect the integrity of the judiciary, he must be removed from all cases involving us and subjected to severe disciplinary punishment like the other Corrupt Judges that our Country has unfortunately had to endure!” The President said the following in his message.

“What Boasberg did in the ‘Too Late’ Powell case and many other cases has little to do with the Law and everything to do with Politics,” the president said, referring to Federal Reserve System board chairman Jerome Powell.

Boasberg is the chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

“He is exactly who Justices shouldn’t be! Boasberg would be better off focusing on Justice and Fairness, not his and the Democrats’ Political Agenda, which has become LEGENDARY!” Trump asserted.

Fox News Digital reached out to Boasberg’s office but was told the judge had no comment.

The president has been a constant and vocal critic of Boasberg.

He launched a wide-ranging attack on Boasberg on Sunday, following the judge’s move last week in a case related to the government’s subpoenas to the Federal Reserve Board.

“The case asks the question: Did prosecutors issue these subpoenas for a proper purpose? The court found that they did not. There is ample evidence that the predominant (though not the sole) purpose of the subpoenas was to harass and pressure Powell to either yield to the President or resign, making way for a Fed Chairman who would do so.”

“On the other hand, the Government has presented no evidence that Powell has committed any wrongdoing other than to please the President. Therefore, the Court must conclude that the justifications advanced for these subpoenas are merely pretextual. It will therefore grant the Board’s Motion to Dismiss,” the opinion said.
