Question Time: Streeting skewers Tory panellist with Hokey Cokey jibe | News

Wes Streeting has urged BBC Question Time viewers to “think Hokey Cokey” over a Tory panelist’s response to a question about the Middle East war.

The health secretary sneered at Helen Whately’s response to the conflict in Iran on Thursday evening (March 19), insisting the Conservatives had not been consistent in their stance.

Mr Streeting said: “Just think of Hokey Cokey and it will all make sense… In, out, in, out.”

His answer caused laughter from the audience.

Mr Streeting took aim at Ms Whately after presenter Fiona Bruce also appeared stunned by her response.
