Nipah virus: Health Department steps up screening along major interstate checkposts in Coimbatore district

The health department accelerated the supervision of a second person from the neighboring Palakkad region in Kerala for a positive testing for the Nipah virus for the Nipah virus.
Health workers scan people entering Palakkad from Palakkad to Coimbatore region with six main control repellents for Nipah virus symptoms similar to influenza’s.
The six control port on which vehicles are scanned, in Gopalapuram in Pollachi North Block, in the Kinathukadavu block, Walayar in Madukkarai Block, Periiyanacenkekam Block, Pattisalia and Anamalai Blok in the Karamadai block.
Deputy Director of Health Services P. Balusamy, on July 12 in the Palakkad Region Nipah virus infection in the second positive situation after notifying that the department began to scan on these control panels, he said.
Health workers deployed in these control warehouses use personal protective equipment while scanning incoming passengers. They use infrared thermometers to control the temperature of the passengers.
Regional collector Pavankumar G. Giriyapanavar controls scanning activities and other preventive measures in Palakkad, Malack, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur and Wayanad after a high warning in six regions in Kerala.
