Trump threatens NATO split as he launches unhinged attack on allies – ‘Don’t need you!’ | World | News

US President Donald Trump has launched a furious attack on Britain and other NATO allies, issuing a clear warning in the process.
Mr Trump said the US would “never forget this very important point in time” as he criticized NATO allies for recent developments in Iran. Posting on Truth Social, the President said: NATO NATIONS HAVE DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP THEIR CRAZY NATION THAT IS NOW MILITARILY DESTROYED. THE USA DOES NOT NEED ANYTHING FROM NATO, BUT ‘NEVER FORGET’ THIS VERY IMPORTANT POINT! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
This message was followed by another message urging Iranian officials to “get serious as soon as possible” and accept a deal that would end the war “before it is too late.” The full message was: “Iranian negotiators are very different and ‘weird’. They are ‘begging’ us to make a deal they need to make because they are militarily destroyed and have zero chance of return, and yet they make it clear that they are only ‘looking at our offer’. WRONG!!! They better get serious soon before it’s too late, because once that happens there is NO RETURN and it won’t be pretty! President DJT.”
US President Donald Trump claimed that he had put forward a 15-point proposal to end the war in the Middle East, but Iranian state media reported that Iran rejected the plan.
This is not the first time Mr. Trump has attacked NATO members. He previously called allies “cowards” and added NATO was a “paper tiger”. “Without the USA, NATO IS A PAPER TIGER! They did not want to join the fight to stop Nuclear Iran. Now they have WON this fight Militarily, there is little danger for them, they complain about the high oil prices they have to pay, but they do not want to help open the Strait of Hormuz, which is a simple military maneuver that is the sole reason for the high oil prices. It is very easy for them to do it with so little risk. They are COWARDS and so will we. REMEMBER!,” said Truth. In a message published on Social.
Mr. Trump has also criticized Britain for its commitment to the war against Iran, saying last week that Britain “should have moved much faster” on allowing America to use British bases to strike Iranian missile sites targeting the Strait of Hormuz.
He added: “There was a very late response from the UK. I was surprised because relations are that good, but this has never happened before. They were really our first ally anywhere in the world.”
An N10 spokesman confirmed that “the agreement for the US to use UK bases in the collective defense of the region also includes US defensive operations to disrupt missile sites and capabilities used to attack ships in the Strait of Hormuz.” Responding to this statement, Iran’s foreign minister warned Britain that he viewed the regime’s choice to allow the US to use British bases as “participation in aggression”.
