It’s been a month since the United States began its war against Iran, which means a month in which the Strait of Hormuz, a critical oil transit route, has been closed. As a result, the price of crude oil rose, bringing fuel prices with it. Diesel costs more than $3 a liter at petrol stations across Australia, with unleaded petrol costing up to $2.50 in metro areas and much more in regional areas.
