Graphic police body camera video shown to jurors on the fourth day of an attempted murder trial on Maui captured the violent aftermath of the alleged attack; A woman covered in blood on a remote walkway after witnesses said she screamed that her doctor husband was trying to kill her.

The video shown in court Wednesday begins with two hikers calling 911 and saying they heard the victim, identified in court as Arielle Konig, screaming for help on a trail in Hawaii.

When officers arrived, Konig was seen slowly approaching from the road, his face covered in blood. The hikers who found him stayed nearby and helped him to the ground near a rocky area while trying to keep him alert.

At one point, a bystander is seen holding a bandage to his head as he leans against the rocks, appearing disoriented and struggling to maintain consciousness.

Honolulu Police Department Officer Kevin Chun testified that Konig appeared exhausted, out of breath and confused when he arrived and began assessing the situation.

Although jurors cannot hear the voice in the footage, the video shows Konig trying to communicate with hand gestures while blood continues to flow from his face.

Prosecutors allege the encounter turned violent when her husband, anesthesiologist Gerhardt Konig, forced her to swerve, then repeatedly hit her in the head with a rock and tried to inject her with a syringe.
