80s bombshell and horror icon who was axed from Knight Rider and Magnum PI looks unrecognizable in LA

One of the most prolific actresses of the ’80s made a double whammy of fans on Monday as she looked almost unrecognizable during a rare outing in Los Angeles.

The 77-year-old star, who cemented her scream queen status alongside Jamie Lee Curtis as Nurse Karen Bailey in 1981’s Halloween II, looked cheerful and radiant as she enjoyed a shopping spree.

Dressed in a simple crop top and black trousers, she looked just as stunning on the red carpet in her previous work, including her role as Alison MacKenzie Tate on NBC’s Return to Peyton Place.

Long-time fans will also remember that the star had major roles in the pilots for Knight Rider and Magnum, P.I. – but she wasn’t asked back when both shows went to series, including a role as Tom Selleck’s girlfriend.

Science fiction buffs will also remember her role as Miss Dorothy Carlyle in Galactica 1980.
