Nagarjuna to Romance Aishwarya Rajesh in Milestone 100th Film

Veteran star Akkineni Nagarjuna will reportedly romance Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh in his groundbreaking 100th film. According to sources, Aishwarya has already joined the shoot and will be seen as one of the romantic leads.

Adding to the appeal of the film, Bollywood actress Tabu is said to be playing a pivotal role in this much-awaited project directed by Ra Karthick.

Aishwarya Rajesh, who last starred opposite Venkatesh Daggubati in the Telugu hit Sankranthiki Vasthunam, seems to have bagged yet another powerful role in this film.

“The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and almost 40-45% of the shooting has been completed outside the city. The film is said to be a commercial entertainer with an emotional base focusing on the relationship between a father and daughter.’ Adds source.

Interestingly, the makers are planning to use anti-aging technology to portray Nagarjuna in various age stages ranging from 25 to 60 years old. Actors Sushmita Bhatt and Vijayendra also play important roles in this big budget venture backed by Annapurna Studios.

On the career front, Nagarjuna’s last solo release was Naa Saami Ranga, which performed well at the box office. She also explored darker tones in Coolie opposite Rajinikanth and played a layered role in Kubera; this reflected his intention to experiment with different characters and expand his acting repertoire.
