Meghan Markle’s former Suits co-star is considering removing her from her Instagram bio. Patrick J Adams, 44, played Meghan’s on-screen love, lawyer Mike Ross, for seven seasons alongside the Duchess of Sussex from 2011 to 2018.
Patrick’s Instagram bio now reads, in reference to Meghan: “The other guy on that show you watched on that app because that girl married that prince.”
Patrick joins Amanda Hirsch Not Thin But Not Fat podcast and addressed the reference in his social media bio.
“I have to change this,” he said. “It’s the kind of thing where, wherever Meghan is, if she reads this, she’s like, ‘Patrick, give me a break.’ I did a lot of eye rolling, which was a constant thing with Meghan.”
Patrick also revealed that Meghan Markle has been in touch with her and Sarah Rafferty, who plays Harvey Spector’s formidable COO Donna, to launch a Suits rewatch podcast in 2024.
He said: “When I heard about the podcast I received a lovely message saying how excited he was for us and asking how he could help in any way.”
Patrick also left the suits after completing several seasons. He said: “I was burnt out. I wasn’t a pleasant person to work with because I was getting frustrated.
“You get to a seven-year point in a show and you have to repeat things, right? I think I wanted it to shake out in a way that it shouldn’t have.”
Meghan Markle played Rachel Zane and Patrick played Mike Ross in the USA Network’s legal drama. Suit From its debut in 2011 to 2017.
