Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor welcomes first member of Royal Family to new ‘in exile’ home | Royal | News

Prince Edward has become the first member of the Royal Family to visit his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor since the former prince and Duke of York left Windsor. The Duke of Edinburgh reportedly visited Andrew in Norfolk this week, making it his first family visit in two months to “talk quietly to his brother”.
The disgraced prince has been living out of the public eye since being evicted from Royal Lodge over his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and is preparing to move to Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate. He was arrested on his 66th birthday in February. It is believed that neither Beatrice nor Eugenie have visited Andrew since his exile at Sandringham.
Andrew was recently spotted meeting the Sandringham estate manager. According to reports, Andrew is expected to be back in action by Easter. Sources said he was ‘reluctant’ to move to Marsh Farm. Sun reports.
A friend told the Sun: “Prince Edward was the first and only member of the Royal Family to visit. “Since Andrew left the Royal Lodge he has been ignored by everyone, including his estranged daughters and ex-wife.
“Edward had already made his feelings clear when he expressed his concerns about the victims. Edward was supposed to stay at Wood Farm as he regularly booked for Easter, but his brother was there.
“Andrew is dragging his heels. He could have moved by now but he was reluctant. Edward spoke quietly to his brother.”
Prince Edward has become the first senior royal to go public with the latest Jeffrey Epstein document revelations about his brother.
Speaking at the World Government Summit in Dubai in February, he told CNN’s Eleni Giokos: “I say it with the best of intentions in the world, I’m not sure there’s an audience that is least interested in this.
“They all came here to listen to education and figure out the future, but no, I think it’s very important to always remember the victims and who the victims of all of this are.”
The former Duke of York was stripped of his royal titles last year. Andrew has consistently and passionately denied any wrongdoing.
