UConn coach’s wife blasts St John’s fans

The UConn Huskies men’s basketball team is one win away from capturing its third national title in the last four years.
The Huskies advanced to the Final Four after a stunning Elite Eight win over the Duke Blue Devils when Braylon Mullins hit a long 3-pointer just before the buzzer to give them the lead.
Duke started the game with St. St. John’s achieved this by defeating the Red Storm.

Dan Hurley’s wife, Andrea, is with St. Louis, who plays the Michigan State Spartans in the other Sweet 16 game. He stated that St. John’s fans appeared to be against the Huskies. It looks like the rivalry between the two schools is alive and well.
“Okay, I’ll say this, St. John’s fans. When we went to the game, all the St. John’s fans were turning against us,” Andrea Hurley said. “Area 68: After Dark.” “And it broke my heart…. It’s really sad…. That sucks…. That was awful.”

Hurley said he talked to Rick Pitino’s wife during the Big East championship and asked her how she did it, apparently making a connection with the family at the rival school. He added that he might not want to see the Red Storm in the tournament, but he also doesn’t want to face the Blue Devils.
Dan Hurley praised his wife earlier in the week, saying she was able to stop the players from rushing the court after Mullins’ shot against Duke. UConn may have received a technical foul for charging the court too early, which may have led to a different discussion in the media leading up to the Final Four.
