Thieves ram-raid Brisbane Hermes store using stolen Mercedes SUV

A luxury goods retailer in Brisbane’s CBD has fallen victim to a brazen early morning attack.
Thieves crashed a stolen Mercedes SUV outside the Hermes store on Edward Street just after 3am on Monday morning.
Police said three men jumped out of the vehicle before loading the stolen items into a second vehicle that was driven away from the scene.
The thieves escaped in a third vehicle.
The Mercedes, which police allege was stolen from a house in Coorparoo on April 1, was abandoned in the store.

“The Mercedes was abandoned at the scene and is currently undergoing forensic examination,” police said in a statement.
Police are appealing for anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward and investigations are ongoing.
