Vishnu Deo Sai set to meet PM Modi, HM Amit Shah to discuss Bastar roadmap

New Delhi: Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah late on Monday night. According to officials, the main focus of these meetings will be on the “post-Maoist scenario”, with detailed discussions on the comprehensive development road map of Bastar after the decline of Maoist influence. Bastar’s development and security plans have now emerged as a national priority, officials said. With significant gains on the security front, the focus has turned to integrating the region into mainstream development. It added that during the meetings, Sai will present a detailed road map outlining expansion of basic infrastructure, promotion of industries and investments, creation of large-scale employment for local youth and inclusive development of tribal areas.
