Hitting back, Sarma alleged that the Congress had leveled “baseless” and malicious allegations against his wife using “misinformation” received from a Pakistani social media group, calling it an attempt to influence the Assam elections and a punishable offence.
The DCP said that an FIR was lodged against Khera following a complaint against him for his statements.
