Wisconsin parents, students sue school district over gender-neutral bathroom policy

Wisconsin’s New Richmond School District is facing a lawsuit from parents and students who object to its gender-neutral bathroom policy. One of the plaintiffs, high school senior Ella Frei, emphasizes that bathrooms should be safe, private spaces for girls, and not places of anxiety. Cory Brewer of the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty is representing the families, arguing that the policy violates the privacy and dignity of female students.
