Tiger kills woman, injures two in Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit

The two tigers attacked the peasants in separate incidents, killed a woman and wounded two people in three hours in the Pylibhit Region on Thursday, July 17, 2025. The locals referring to inactivity, organized a protest in front of the administration trying to take custody of the body for a post -death exam. The villagers claimed that despite the human-animal conflict and the views of the tigers, the authorities could not provide security to people.
In the village of Bithra Mandaria, 50 -year -old Trishna was killed by a tiger. The semi -eaten body was recovered from a sugar cane area. Half an hour later, 20 -year -old Nilesh was attacked by Tiger. The wounded boy was rescued after fighting a bar with his friend tiger. Kaplan was injured in another local village working in agricultural land. Both injured are being treated in a state hospital. Regional Magistrates of Magistrates Gyanendra Singh, including the upper regional officials visited the affected areas and calmed the locals.
