Adulterated Toddy Claims 10th Life

Haydarabad: A 42 -year -old woman who consumed Toddy at the beginning of this month, died while being treated at Osmania General Hospital on Wednesday and passed to 10 in the mixed Toddy case.

According to Kukatpally Inspector Rajesh, Dendi Sunitha, who lives in Kukatpally, was reported to have consumed Toddy in a shop in the HMT region on July 5th. The next day, after traveling to the Native Village in Indrakal in the Nagarkurnool region and reportedly started Dirheing in the Nagarkurnool region.

He was initially treated at the state hospital in Nagarkurnol and then shifted to Osmania General Hospital on July 15th. He died on the morning of 17 July.

At the beginning of this month, at least nine people died after jumping Toddy. Preliminary research suggested that Alprazolam was confused with Toddy to provide a stronger effect. Meanwhile, Osmania hospital officials rejected deaths related to the incident. Since the hospital officials are unresponsive, the number of patients treated in connection with the Kukatpally Toddy case remains uncertain. However, OGH Inspector Dr Raqesh Sahay said that two patients rejected any connection with the Kukatpally incident, but he was treated for symptoms caused by adultery Toddy.
