KGBV Students Excel In Intermediate Examinations

ADILABAD: Students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Naspur in Mancherial district secured the highest marks in the Intermediate exams in erstwhile Adilabad district.

KGBV Naspur special officer Mounika said H. Lasya Sri secured the second position in the Intermediate first year (BiPC) by scoring 438 out of 440 marks. He is a native of Elukathurthi in Hanamkonda district.

Other students at the same institution also achieved high scores; K. Laharika scored 924 marks in the second year of MPC, D. Aniali scored 955 marks in the second year of BiPC and P. Anjali scored 423 marks in the first year of MPC.

In separate instances, Malyala Pawani from Sonala mandal scored 990 out of 1000 marks in Intermediate, while Gandla Varshini scored 437 out of 440 marks in the first year of Intermediate. Both students study at a residential college for girls in Khammam.

Another student, Medichelma Srija from Boath mandal, scored 990 marks in Intermediate second year BiPC while studying at SR Junior College in Nirmal.

Officials noted that the mothers of three high-performing students were beedi workers.
