Top U.P. Leaders paid tribute to B.R. Ambedkar on birth anniversary

Senior Uttar Pradesh leaders paid tribute to India’s first Law Minister BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the event held in Lucknow and paid tribute to his statue by offering flowers. A memoir titled “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” based on the principles of Baba Saheb was also launched. “Under the Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar Statue Development Programme, work on beautification and conservation of Baba Saheb statues installed in 75 districts of the state has also been initiated. Baba Saheb’s entire life has been dedicated to realizing the vision of ‘One India-Best India’ and ensuring justice and respect to Dalits, the poor, the poor and women power,” Adityanath said.
