Ruby Rose finalizes police report over alleged Katy Perry assault

Ruby Rose has completed the police report stemming from the sexual assault allegation against Katy Perry that occurred more than two decades ago.
Rose, 40, made allegations against the “Firework” singer over the weekend in response to a clip of Perry fawning over Justin Bieber’s Coachella performance.
“I completed all my reports this afternoon,” Rose wrote on Threads. “This means I can no longer comment, republish or speak publicly about any of these cases or the individuals involved.”

“It’s going to seem like I’m ignoring everything from supportive messages to other people’s experiences, but I’m not,” the “Orange is the New Black” actress said.
“This is a standard police request and in many ways it is quite reassuring.”
“I can now begin the healing process. And I can move forward temporarily. I love you all so much,” he added.

The “Wide Awake” singer posted a message to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, sharing the video for her song “By the Grace of God” with the message, “I love you.”

Lyrics to the hit song from her 2013 album “Prism” include, “This wasn’t about me / Now I need to move up / Let the universe call the bluff / Yes the truth will set you free.”
Over the weekend, the Australian actress accused Perry of sexual assault, but the “Dark Horse” singer vehemently denied the allegations.
“Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at the spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who cares what she thinks.” he wrote In matters.

After a user asked her to expand on the claim, Rose wrote: “I threw up on him after that. I told the story publicly but changed it to ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it.”
“He then agreed to help me get my US visa. That’s why I kept it a secret. But I TOLD you he wasn’t a good person. Instead… I was attacked by everyone.”

A representative for Perry immediately shut down the “categorically false” claims.
“Ruby Rose’s claims about Katy Perry circulating on social media are not only categorically false, they are dangerous and reckless lies.” Perry’s representative he told Fox News Digital in a statement.

“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations against various individuals on social media, allegations that have been repeatedly denied by the individuals named.”

Rose said in another post that it took him almost 20 years. come forward with allegations.
“I was only in my early 20s. I’m 40 now. It took almost 20 years to make this public,” he wrote. “While I am so grateful that I was able to hold out long enough to find my voice, it just goes to show how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault has. Thank you for having me.”

Rose also detailed the alleged incident, writing: “As a woman, I speak out about W and W for countless reasons. [women-on-women] Violence and sexual abuse seem 100 times harder to talk about than male predators, at least to me.”

Although Rose initially claimed he was not interested in filing a report, he welcomed Perry’s legal action.
“[Katy] suing me is welcome (not because it happened, there are photos of me and it was literally public and witnessed by more than one person). There’s also a lot more going on in the years before that stupid song of his that he doesn’t want me to discuss. “The psychological manipulation was strong in this one,” he wrote.
