Donald Trump He was branded a “dangerous and corrupt gangster” by a politician in England.
Speaking in the House of Commons, the leader of Britain’s Liberal Democrat party accused the US President of being “immoral”. He also called on Prime Minister Keir Starmer to advise King Charles to cancel his upcoming visit to the US. The monarch will travel to America later this year to celebrate the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Referring to Trump’s latest Truth Social post about Iran, where he threatened that “an entire civilization would die,” Ed Davy said these were words he “never thought” would come from an American president.
“These words are a stark reminder of how reckless, immoral and completely outside the bounds of international law this president is,” he continued. To this end, the politician argued that Trump is “not a friend” of Britain. He also claimed that he was “not the leader of the free world.”
The Liberal Democrat then accused Trump of being a “dangerous and corrupt gangster”.
“And we should treat it that way,” he continued, before urging the British Prime Minister to take action.
“So will the Prime Minister advise the King to cancel his state visit to Washington before it is too late?” Ed asked. “Because I’m really afraid of what Trump might say or do while our King has to stand by him. We can’t put His Majesty in that position.”
The politician’s comments come at a difficult time for Trump. The president is currently facing a sharp decline in his popularity. This stemmed from the war in Iran but was further fueled by a recent photo he shared on social media and his ongoing feud with the Pope.
