Cyberabad Municipal Corporation has introduced a motion sensor-enabled CCTV system with automatic alert announcement feature at a chronic dumping point in Moosapet. The initiative, launched during a field inspection by the Commissioner on Wednesday 15 April, aims to deter criminals in real time while strengthening urban sanitation measures.

The system, installed on HP Road in Moosapet Circle, detects activity using motion detection technology and issues an instant audio alert to people trying to dump illegal waste. The system also integrates with a mobile app, allowing cleaners to remotely monitor the location and respond quickly when necessary, a note from the ministry said.
