Meghan spent just two hours with fans despite whopping ‘£130k fee’ for event | Royal | News

Meghan Markle is said to have only spent two hours with fans despite being promised a hefty fee of “£130,000” for her big concert. The 44-year-old stepped out for her Best Life at the InterContinental on Coogee beach earlier today.

After just 120 minutes at the gala, dubbed “Megstock” after the guest of honor, the former working royal was spotted leaving the venue with her husband shortly after 7pm, with the couple then driving away in the back of a luxury Range Rover.

Excited participants arrived at the venue around 3pm and the official start time was scheduled for 5pm.

Meghan took to the stage at the gala dinner in the presence of guests, some of whom paid up to £2,000.

The former royal staffer later spoke about her “very difficult” life in the public eye, claiming she has been “attacked” since marrying Prince Harry in 2018.

As well as opening up about the downsides of her life over the past decade, Meghan talked about some “wonderful moments”, including marrying Harry and welcoming their children Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.

Harry’s attendance was unknown prior to the event, but when his wife took the stage, Harry proudly sat in the audience.

It was reported that the 41-year-old woman applauded her husband standing when he came into the room.

Meghan also talked about her children on stage, saying Archie and Lilibet were “inspirations.”
