G20 satellite expected to be launched in 2027: ISRO chief Narayanan

ISRO Chairman V Narayanan said on Saturday, April 18, 2026: G20 satellite designed to study climate and air pollution and the weather monitoring system is expected to be operational in 2027.

Addressing scientists from DRDO, ISRO and Indian Aeronautical Society at the Indian Engineering Staff College, Dr. Narayanan also said that India was the first country to manage to deploy 104 satellites using a single rocket, more than 100 satellites without any collision.
