WrestleMania 42: Jacob Fatu triumphs over Drew McIntyre in unsanctioned match

LAS VEGAS – Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre had several major clashes on SmackDown during the build-up to their WrestleMania 42 match. So much so that they were booked into an unauthorized match at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday night.

Fatu promised to put McIntyre “in the rearview” on his final “Friday Night SmackDown” before WrestleMania. He did just that.

The two wrestling giants brutalized each other to the best of their abilities. The match began outside the ring with Fatu pushing McIntyre into the ring announcer’s corner and introducing tables, chairs and a toolbox into the match.

This won’t last long as McIntyre regains the momentum. He took a mobile phone and recorded a video of himself before hitting Fatu in the head.

McIntyre’s frustration grew as the match progressed. He jumped over the ring ropes onto Fatu outside the ring. He tried to squeeze Fatu but he was going to throw. This happened often because Fatu did not stay on the ground.

McIntyre even pushed Fatu over the top rope and through the table. But Fatu didn’t want to stay here.

Fatu returned to the ring and nailed McIntyre in the head with a toolbox. McIntyre fell through a table in the ring. Fatu hit a moonsault off the top rope, slamming McIntyre.

Fatu covered McIntyre and took the victory.

This is Fatu’s second straight win in two matches at WrestleMania. Last year he beat LA Knight for the United States Championship.
